1. About NovaX

NovaX is an AI-powered mobile application that may provide AI Chat, Text-to-Image, Text-to-Speech (TTS), AI Voice Cloning, speech-to-text, audio and video processing, digital library and book search, voice projects, cloud synchronization, subscriptions, and advertising.

2. Local-First Privacy

NovaX is designed to process as much information as reasonably possible on your device. Depending on the feature and AI model, audio recordings, voice-cloning processing, speech-to-text, videos, and other media may be processed locally.

Not every feature is necessarily local. Features using external AI providers, cloud APIs, authentication, synchronization, advertising, subscriptions, or other online functionality may transmit the minimum information required to provide that feature.

3. Information We May Process

Depending on the features you use, NovaX may process:

• Email address and account/User ID when you create an account.
• Voice recordings, reference audio, voice profiles and voice models.
• AI chat messages and prompts.
• Text-to-image prompts and generated images.
• Text used for TTS and generated speech.
• Audio and video files, transcripts and projects.
• Book search queries and bookmarks.
• Technical, diagnostic, analytics, advertising and subscription information where applicable.

4. Account Information

If you create a NovaX account, we may receive your email address and a unique user/account identifier through our authentication provider. This information is used to authenticate your account, maintain account functionality, synchronize supported data, and help protect the service.

5. User-Generated Content

NovaX may process content that you voluntarily create or import, including recordings, voice samples, AI conversations, generated images, transcripts, audio, video, bookmarks and projects. Where technically possible, this content is stored and processed locally. If you enable cloud synchronization, publishing, sharing, or a feature requiring an online service, relevant content may be transmitted to the applicable provider.

6. AI Chat

When you use online AI Chat, your messages or prompts may be transmitted to the selected AI service provider to generate a response. Chat history may be stored locally and, if cloud synchronization is enabled, supported data may be stored in your connected cloud account. Third-party AI providers may have their own privacy policies and retention practices.

7. Text-to-Image

When you use Text-to-Image, the prompt you enter may be transmitted to the selected image-generation provider. Generated images may be stored locally and may be synchronized to cloud storage if you enable that functionality. Avoid entering confidential or highly sensitive information into prompts.

8. Text-to-Speech (TTS)

NovaX may provide on-device and online TTS engines. Depending on the selected engine or voice, text may be processed locally or transmitted to an online TTS provider. The provider may vary by voice, configuration, availability, or application version.

9. Voice Cloning & Voice Data

Voice cloning is a sensitive feature. You must have the necessary rights, permission, and legally valid consent before recording, uploading, cloning, publishing, or processing another person's voice.

Voice-related data may include reference recordings, voice embeddings, voice models, voice profiles and generated speech. Where supported, processing may occur locally. Original recordings are not intentionally uploaded merely because you create a local voice clone unless the feature requires an online service or you choose to upload, synchronize, share, or publish the content.

You must not use NovaX for unauthorized voice cloning, fraud, scams, impersonation, identity theft, harassment, extortion, deception, authentication bypass, or other unlawful activity.

10. Voice Market / Public Publishing

If NovaX provides a public Voice Market, choosing to publish a voice may upload the model, preview audio, metadata, or other selected content necessary to provide the feature. Your original private training recordings are not intended to be publicly displayed merely because you publish a voice model. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and consent to publish a voice.

11. Audio & Video Processing

Depending on the feature, audio and video may be processed entirely on your device or transmitted to an online service when cloud processing is required. Generated and processed files may be saved locally. NovaX does not intentionally upload private media solely because the media exists on your device.

12. Digital Library & Book Search

Book searches may be sent to public or publicly accessible book databases and library APIs. NovaX may not permanently store your book-search history. Books or documents may be opened or downloaded from external sources where permitted. Users are responsible for complying with applicable copyright laws.

13. Cloud Storage & Synchronization

If you enable cloud synchronization, selected application data may be uploaded to cloud infrastructure. This may include account information, projects, settings, generated content, or supported voice-related data. Disabling synchronization may stop future synchronization but may not automatically delete previously synchronized information.

14. Third-Party Services

NovaX may use third-party services to provide functionality, including Google Firebase for authentication, cloud services, analytics or crash reporting; Google AdMob for advertising; RevenueCat and app-store services for subscriptions and purchases; AI text or image providers; online TTS providers; and public book/library services.

When a feature requires a third-party service, information necessary to provide that feature may be transmitted to that service. Third-party providers operate under their own privacy policies, terms, retention periods and security practices.

15. Advertising

NovaX may display advertisements through services such as Google AdMob. Advertising providers may process information such as device information, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interaction, diagnostic information, and advertising preferences, depending on your device, region, consent choices and configuration. Where required by law, NovaX may request consent for personalized advertising.

16. Purchases & Subscriptions

NovaX may offer paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Subscription-management and app-store services may process purchase information to verify transactions, restore purchases and determine entitlement status. NovaX does not intentionally receive or store your complete payment-card number through the application.

• Microphone: voice recording, voice cloning, speech-to-text and audio features.
• Photos/Media/Storage: importing and saving audio, video, images and projects.
• Internet: online AI, authentication, cloud sync, book search, advertising, subscriptions and online TTS.

18. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, which may include secure network communication, authentication, access controls, private application storage, cloud security rules and local processing. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

19. Data Retention

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide functionality, maintain accounts, provide synchronization, process subscriptions, maintain security, diagnose technical issues, or comply with legal obligations. Local content may remain until you delete it or remove the application. Third-party providers may retain information according to their own policies.

20. Data Deletion

You can delete supported local voices, recordings, projects, generated images, chat history, transcripts and other content using available in-app controls. Where account deletion is available, deleting your account may delete account-associated cloud information under our control, subject to legal, security, transaction, backup and third-party retention requirements.

21. Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where applicable. To make a privacy request, contact us using the email below. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

22. Children's Privacy

NovaX is not intended for children under 13 unless permitted by applicable law and appropriately supervised. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Some service providers may process information on servers outside your country. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards may be used for international transfers.

24. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated text, images, audio, speech and other content may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. Users are responsible for reviewing generated content before using, publishing or distributing it. AI-generated content should not be treated as professional legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will be changed when revisions are made. Where appropriate and required by law, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
